How Does The IDI Work?

QUESTIONNAIRE – Participants complete the Intercultural Development Inventory, a 50-item electronic questionnaire that can be completed in 15–20 minutes.

RESULTS – Our Qualified Administrator reviews the results and generates custom reports based on individual, team, or organizational needs.

a) For individuals, a customized Intercultural Development Plan® (IDP®) is prepared. This IDP provides a detailed blueprint for you to further develop your intercultural competence.

b) For teams and organizations, a Group IDI Profile is prepared. Interviews or focus groups are also conducted to identify cross-cultural goals and challenges. These results are used alongside your IDI profile to determine specific strategies to improve intercultural competencies in your organization.

COACHING – Our Qualified Administrator walks you through your results and actionable steps, answering questions, facilitating conversation, and providing recommendations.

FOLLOW-UP – The TalentLink team and Qualified Administrator remain available to provide any further coaching, additional assessments, or specific training you may need.
