Cancellation, Transfer, and Refund Policy

Course participants, or their organizational representative, should call or email UMKC TalentLink to change or cancel registrations.  

Cancellations must be received at least 5 business days before the course begins to receive a full refund. Course registrations may also be transferred from one individual to another up to 5 business days before any elected course. Cancellations made within 5 business days from the course date are non-transferable and non-refundable. “No-shows” are non-refundable and non-transferrable.  

If a course is canceled or dates/times of a course are changed by UMKC TalentLink, a full refund of tuition and fees pertaining to that course will be made to the participant. 

Participants who are directed to report for active military duty before a course begins shall be entitled to a full refund of tuition and fees. Those directed to active duty during a course are entitled to a partial refund proportional to when the participant stopped attending the course. All refunds may be contingent upon presentation of official documentation. 

UMKC TalentLink reserves the right to make changes to the cancellation, transfer, and refund policy. The most current policy will be posted on our website and will be observed regardless of previous policies.
