Python is a powerful open-source language & a go-to tool in data science.
A working understanding of Python is a highly sought-after skill in today’s data science job market. This Python toolbox workshop provides attendees with a non-technical introduction to Python applications for data cleaning, merging, visualizing, and analyzing data. Leveraging Jupyter Notebooks, attendees will be empowered to answer the important questions for their organizations.

Dr. Jin Yao (Ph.D., University of Kansas) is a human service data analyst with the Johnson County Government. In her work, Jin uses machine learning and statistical analysis to support criminal justice and human service interventions in regional communities. Previously she analyzed ecological and agricultural data at the Jornada Experimental Range in New Mexico.
